The Love Therapist Fixed

Just to let you know I have fixed the Love Therapist story.

I was using Comic Life 2 when making that story, and PDFs exported from Comic Life 2 is messed up by Slideshare. I am now back to using Comic Life 1.

By the way, if you want to make your own photo comics, Comic Life is the way to go. It is amazingly easy to use. If you have a Mac, you do not even need a separate programme for making PDF-files.

No, I am not able to see who you are and where you live. But by using Google Analytics I can find a lot of information that should interest you.

Have you ever wondered how many people there are out there reading Rebecca's World?

Well, in 2010 I had the mind blowing number of 1.6 million visits from 685,000 unique visitors. 675,000 visited more than once.

Given that this isn't the kind of site that pops up in random searches and the fact that the bounce rate was as low as 12.7 %, this tells me that a large number of the 1.6 million are interested in transgender erotica.

The majority of you are US citizens. Out of the 1.6 million visits, 974,000 came from the US, 161,000 from the UK and 96,000 from Germany. That being said, I had visitors from nearly all the countries in the world. There were, for instance, 966 from Egypt.

Remember that this is an English language site. There are, for instance, Russian, Spanish and Japanese catering to other readers.

I am positive that sites like TG Comics and Fictionmania can deliver significantly higher figures than this. Mine is, after all, a pretty hard core site, and many TG erotica enthusiasts go for the kinder stuff.

Remember also that there continue to be quite a few that have no Internet access or who avoid using their computer to look for unorthodox stuff. This means that the number of US citizens interested in feminization fantasies must be counted in several millions. Who knows how many there are world wide!

You are not alone!

Your rebel nature is reflected in the fact that only 35 percent of you are using Internet Explorer. Although, it must be said, more than 80 percent are using Windows. 11 percent are using the Mac.

25,000 visited the site using an iPhone, 18,000 with an iPad. (I know that the iOS devices cannot read Flash. Download the PDF instead!).

36 % of you find this site because you already know the address or have bookmarked it. 47% come from referring sites and the rest from search engines. TG comics, The World of TG and Being Andrissa are top deliverers of visitors (Thanks, friends!).

Will I be able to keep up the production and get a similar number of visitors in 2011? I doubt it, but I am not giving up yet.

Introducing Rebecca's Transgender Fiction Store

I am doing a little experiment here, adding an online store to the site.

What I have done is simply to select relevant products from the Amazon.com store and present them in a coherent manner. Most of you would probably be interested in the book section, where i have added a lot of books on boys who become girls.

If you find important books and movies that are missing, please add a comment to this post.

Finding photos for TG captions

So you have decided to make your own caps, and your own caption blog even. What do you do?

Using image search engines

You may use Google Image Search, of course, and switch off the adult filter (click on alternatives and select "do not filter my search results").

Google will bring you images from a large variety of sites, including porn site galleries. If you click on any of these links you may get access to hot pictures, and even series of pictures from complete photo sets. 

The downside is that you have to wade through hundreds of spam pages with banners, banners, banners and nothing useful at all. There is also the risk of malware and viruses.

There are other image search engines you may try out as well.

TG Captions UK has a useful list of free image sources down  in the left hand column of the blog. One example is The Babes of Flickr which gathers soft core pictures from the social photo web site Flickr.

Become a porn site affiliate

If you have a blog or site, you may also sing up to become a porn site affiliate. They will normally offer you some content for free (selected photo shoots etc.), in return for you adding a link or two to their site. Heck, you may even earn some money this way.

JuggCash (Brazzers)

Ferro Cash (Gay Sissies, Anal Saga, Shemales etc)

Pay for porn site access

I am basing most of my caps and photo stories on caps fetched from such sites. By adding affiliate links to the relevant blog post I also make sure that I am not breaking any copyright laws.

And no, I am not paying for access to all the porn sites listed on this blog! Most of the sites offer packages of 10 or more sites. Subscribing to one or two of them brings you all the pictures you could wish for.

Changing the blog roll

My blog rolls (i.e. the lists of links found in the left hand colum) have become too long and unruly. Moreover, they slow down the download speed of all my pages.

I have therefore moved the links into a separate TG fiction links directory subdivided into separate categories for stories, captions, sissy sites etc.

I hope this will make it easier to find what you are looking for.

By the way: If you know of any sites or blogs that ought to be included, just tell me in a comment on the relevant page.

The TFCC search engine has been updated with more TG Caps sites.

I have also added new categories that let you narrow your search to caption or story sites respectively.

The TFCC search engine now includes 73 TG fiction sites

FYI: I added a large number of new TG blogs and fiction sites to my TFCC search engine.

This should make it even more useful for tracking down stories and caps focusing on your interests. 

Note that some sites do not allow the Google crawlers access.

However, all Blogger blogs are now (finally!) spidered by Google and will hopefully be included in full within a short period of time.

Blogger has fixed the search engine crawler problem

Remember my complaints about Blogger stopping search engine spiders from crawling adult Blogger blogs like this one?

Well, it now seems Google and Blogger have solved this problem.

I see brand new blog posts from this blog being listed in Google with full titles and descriptions.

I can assure you, this means a lot towards making the TG Blogger blogs more accessible for searchers that do not know our network of TG ficition sites.

It also means that our rankings in search engine results will increase. Now Google will count the inter linkages between these blogs as votes of confidence, giving them a boost in search results.

So please, all TG blog and site owners, do spread the link love to sites that you like. We all benefit from it.

However, I suspect the reason for the recent problem of Blogger stopping some browsers from accessing these blogs is caused by the new way of coding the Content Warning page.

It was the Content Warning page that stopped the search engines from indexing these sites in the first place.

Ah well, they are working on it!

Rebecca's World gets covered by the technology press

Webpronews, a site covering web and search engine marketing, is quoting me extensively in their blog.

Webpronews has discovered a a post I wrote in on of Google's help forums to draw attention to the fact that the Blogger content warning splash page stop Google's search crawlers from indexing site.

Rebecca's World and many of the other new TG blogs are close to invisible in Google results, which means that potential readers have a hard time finding us. (This is one of the reasons I had for putting up TFCC outside the content barrier).

Webpronews says:

"It seems reasonable no one would object to a content warning, but if Google is true to its commitment to index the world’s information, erotic content on its own blogging service should be on the list to include."

I originally thought the reason for Blogger blocking Google's crawlers was lack of communication between the Google search team and the Blogger team. (Blogger is owned by Google).

Now I am not so sure. Another possible explanation is that Google will find it hard to handle all the spam blogs that will pop up on Blogger if they open the adult content to the crawlers.

Google is apparently working on the problem.

The results from the The Other Side of Your Soulpoll

I would like to thank those who voted in my poll on your favorite kind of story - all 1659 of you!

It is not that I won't follow my own ideas when writing new stories, but it helps to know what you like the most.

Maybe this could be of use to other story writers and captioneers as well, when they plan their creative work.

You do not represent an unbiased selection of respondents, that's for sure, and the fact that so many of you voted for "Magical change" and "Forced against his will" as your favorite fantasies may reflect that this blog has so many of those stories.

That transexuals and cross-dressing scored low may  be due to the fact that you represent one sub-section of the transgender community, while transsensuals and cross-dressers represent another. I am not sure about that, however. It could also be that the act of cross-dressing turns you on, but reading about it does not.

Some of you also gave me some great comments on what you would like to see more of here at Rebecca's World.

Several of you were pretty specific: " Lesbian in terms of girl on girl, period. East Asian. Forced. Not mind controlled but seduced."

Although most of you belong to the "change by magic" camp, there are others that look for more realism: 

"I'd like to see more stories chronicling the actual feminization of men via hormones and implants by either father figures or bosses or friends but with using real pictures of transsexuals. There aren't hardly ANY decent tranny captions out there in the whole world."

(I hope to rectify that).

Some of you look for topics I hadn't even considered, like furry gender transformations, futanaris and female lack of bladder control. (Come to think of it; I have actually covered the last one).

Those of you who likes TS and TV stories or tales about MILFs and black girls (two other lowly ranked alternatives) should not despair, however. There will be caps for all you, although maybe not as many in those categories as originally planned.

There is one big surprise for me in this poll, though: The fact that "love stories" only got 111 votes. 

Seriously folks: Girls love romance, pillow talk and chick flicks with pink covers. Go home and practice! Right away! Now! Hush!
