The US military has an interest in Butterfly Hill, that strange town in Nevada that changes men into women (or more masculine men), and women into men (or more feminine women).

Is Butterfly Hill a threat to National Security? May Butterfly Hill be weaponized? Does Butterly Hill want to be weaponized.

I am not sure you will get answers to all of this questions in this episode, but there will be a few boys who learn to appreciate the the pros and cons of being a girl.

For those of you who want  to know more about the characters from the previous episodes, I would add that some of them will be back later on.

In this episode we follow Ellen, as she is finally able to leave Butterfly Hill. But she needs money for her family, and she knows of only one shady character who can help her in that respect.

At the same time Cool Kid, the truck driver, is trying to adapt to her new life as a woman.

The Butterfly Hill series constitutes my first graphic photo novel, with chapters double the length of my normal photo comics.

In this first episode we meet Ellen for the first time.

While waiting for a way out of Babylon Hill, she is working as a waitress at the diner down by the truck stop. And where there is a truck stop, there are truck drivers.

Welcome to Butterfly Hill

Next week I am going to launch Butterfly Hill, a new TG universe, and a brand new series.

of Butterfly Hill.

Butterfly Hill is a hidden town, found only by those drawn til it. It lies in Nevada somewhere, but does not appear on maps or satellite images. And everyone who appears in Butterfly Hill is changed for life, if he or she sleeps there.

With this series I am going to try out a broader canvas. 

This is more like a series of episodes that add up to a graphic photo novel, than a series of quick and dirty adventures. 

Yes, I have followed characters over time before -- like in the Babylon Academy series -- but not to the extent I do here.

I want these stories to breathe. I want to give the characters time to develop and time to talk. 

To the extent there is photo material for it, I will aslo make more use of frames without text, where the story is told by the images instead of  text.

Each episode has nearly twice the length of a normal Xandra story, so you may want to read these in more than one go.
